Do The Good Deeds Of David Part 9
Scripture📖:Acts 13:22 NIV
Thank GOD Its Monday!
We are in the home stretch of this wonderful month of our Sure Mercies.
This month is going to end well for you in JESUS Name. Believe it and you will receive it.
Yesterday we came to the point where we said,
We must learn to forgive like David did to warrant the same kind of Sure Mercies GOD promised to him.
All the good deeds of David were not one off acts but they were his lifestyle.
No wonder GOD said what HE said about David.
In Acts 13:22 NIV Luke the author of the Acts of the Apostles, records it this way,
▶ “After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.‘”◀
I remember in secondary school we studied logic. We were taught to analyse logical statements.
Well here is one:
1. David was a man after GOD’s own heart.
2. GOD made an everlasting covenant of Sure Mercies with David.
⏭We can conclude therefore that Davids everlasting covenant of sure mercies was as a result of David being a man after GOD’s own heart.
What this also means is that in order for us to benefit from the David-like everlasting covenant of sure mercies we must be people who are after GOD’s own heart and do everything GOD wants you to do.
May ELOHIM testify of you this month that,
I have found …………son or daughter of ……………a man or woman after MY own heart, he or she will do everything I want him to do.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.
💭Thought of the day
In order for us to benefit from the David-like everlasting covenant of sure mercies we must be people who are after GOD’s own heart and do everything GOD wants you to do.
Prayer🙏 FATHER, may Your grace abound to me so YOU can testify of me that I am someone who is after YOUR own heart in JESUS Name. Amen
