February, Your Season As A Well Watered Garden:
You Will Bear More Fruit By Pruning
Scripture📖:John 15:2b NKJV

Thank GOD It’s Wednesday!
Yesterday we concluded boldly that,
YOU WILL BEAR FRUIT BY ALL MEANS!
In points 2 and 3 from the day before yesterday JESUS talks about bearing fruit and bearing more fruit.
As a WELL WATERED GARDEN you will bear fruit but to bear more fruit something must happen.
You must be PRUNED.
In today’s scripture JESUS continues from where we left of yesterday,
➡️[2]………..and every branch that bears fruit HE PRUNES, that it may bear more fruit.⬅️
I want to tell you this in no uncertain terms.
GOD DOES NOT WASTE RESOURCES ON UNFRUITFUL VENTURES.
In the scripture the word prunes is translated from the Greek word kathairo which means to cleanse, of filth impurity and to prune vines.
Pruning means a removal of excess material from a tree or shrub to promote FRUIT bearing.
In fact the owner of a vineyard makes sure the vine does not waste nutrients in the soil to grow green leaves only.
So what he does is remove green leaves from the vine so that nutrients produce juicy FRUIT and there is enough space for the FRUIT to occupy on the vine.

Practically pruning represents God’s Discipline.
Discipline is what happens when our loving Father steps in to lift us away from our own destructive and unfruitful attitudes and actions.
Pruning or discipline is painful but it is necessary to remove unnecessary things that prevent us from bearing more FRUIT.
Once you embrace God’s discipline you will realise that disciplining does not have to continue.
IT IS ALL UP TO YOU.
You will only experience pain as long as you hang on to bad attitudes and actions.
There are some people who will be pruned off you so they will not see or try to prevent your FRUITING.
Bad habits like talking too much will be pruned off you.
When you learn your lesson more FRUIT will result.
Yield to any pruning that your fruiting requires and you will produce more FRUIT very quickly.
Without pruning you will produce some fruit but nowhere near what GOD wants you to have.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.

💭Thought of the day
Pruning may be painful but it is necessary to remove unnecessary things that prevent us from bearing more FRUIT.

Prayer🙏🏿 FATHER, prune me so I can bear more fruit as your well watered garden. In JESUS Name have I prayed. Amen.
