Gaining The UPPER HAND

Being in an environment were you could gain the UPPER HAND and gaining the UPPER HAND are two different things.
You see you can have faith that you can gain the UPPER HAND in a certain situation but until you act you will never gain it.
I am an Ashanti from Ghana and we have this Ashanti proverb which says,
“If you born on an anthill it does not take long for you to gain height.”
It has a similar meaning to being born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
It is all about having an advantage in life.
But you see the ant hill will present to you the opportunity to gain the advantage of height but to gain it you must STAND UP.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen according to Hebrews 11:1; and indeed,
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists………. according to Hebrews 11:6.
But James the brother of JESUS wrote in James 2:17,
Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
To gain the UPPER HAND our FATHER and GOD has presented to you,
YOU MUST ACT.
