Spiritual Gifts And Talents Part 1
Scripture📖: 1Corinthians 12:1-12
TGIF-Thank GOD It’s Friday!
Decree this out loud before you step out today in JESUS Name,
I decree, the word of GOD is creating great things in my life today. I will learn from the abundance of His word and build my faith in my Master’s words, in the name of JESUS.
Yesterday the prophetic word to you was,
Your TRANSFORMATION will cause those who wished your death, embarrassment or failure to be TERRIFIED.
Over the past few days we have seen how Saul transformed into another person by the HOLY SPIRIT with the manifestation of the prophetic GIFT. We also talked briefly about Joseph who had a an awesome administrative and governance TALENT also by the HOLY SPIRIT.
Today we begin teachings on Spiritual Gifts and Talents through which you will soar by the empowerment of the HOLY SPIRIT who will transform you.
We begin with
⏺SPIRITUAL GIFTS⏺
Paul took his time to teach the people of Corinth about spiritual gifts.
In 1Cor 12:4 Paul says,
➡There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.⬅
The word gift is translated from the Greek word Charisma (a word I am sure you are familiar with) which means – Grace or gifts denoting extraordinary powers, distinguishing certain Christians and enabling them to serve the church of Christ, the reception of which is due to the power of divine grace operating on their souls by the HOLY SPIRIT.
From the verse 8-11 Paul catalogues gift that can be evidence of the manifestation of your transformation by the Holy Spirit.
➡To one there is given through the Spirit a
1. message of wisdom, to another a
2. message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another
3. faith by the same Spirit, to another
4. gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another
5. miraculous powers, to another
6. prophecy, to another
7. distinguishing between spirits, to another
8. speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the
9. interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.⬅
The HOLY SPIRIT knows you and He knows what gift or gifts to distribute to you so you can manifest His power in your transformed state as you soar this year.
GOD willing we will take each gift one by one from tomorrow.
💭Thought of the day
One of the evidences of your transformation by the Holy Spirits manifestation is through ‘CHARISMA‘.
Prayer🙏 FATHER, help me understand all spiritual gifts and their possible relation to my transformation by the HOLY SPIRIT as I soar this year. In JESUS Name have I prayed. Amen
