Do The Good Deeds Of David Part 3
Scripture📖:Heb 11:6 NKJV, I Samuel 17:43‭-‬46 NKJV

Thank GOD Its Wednesday
GOD has brought you this far with all that is going on in this world and He is taking you further in JESUS Name.
Yesterday we came to the point where we concluded,
You must be prepared to genuinely worship GOD from your heart with David-like passion.
Today we continue with another of David’s deeds that cemented his relationship with GOD and precipitated an everlasting covenant of Sure Mercies for him.
David prophesied.
There are several definitions of prophecy that are linked to predicting the future. But to us Christians prophecy is so much more.
A definition that I love so much states that prophecy is SPEAKING THE MIND OF GOD.
As somebody who operates in the prophetic ministry I tell you there is always an aspect of faith to speaking the mind of GOD.
In Heb 11:6 NKJV the Bible says,
▶But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.◀
By direct relation we can conclude that when we prophecy(speak the mind of God) we are acting in faith and in so doing we please GOD.
David prophesied in I Samuel 17:43‭-‬46 NKJV.
The Bible says,
▶So the Philistine said to David, “ Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. And the Philistine said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!”
Then David said to the Philistine,
“You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you.
And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.”◀
On that day David prophesied(that was not the only time he prophesied) and it came to pass just as he said and I can tell you without a shadow of doubt that what David did pleased GOD.
You must please GOD in the same manner for your David-like everlasting covenant of Sure Mercies.
