Pray Without Ceasing
Scripture📖: Luke 18:1 KJV, 1Thess 5:17 KJV
Thank GOD It’s Tuesday!
Yesterday we said,
QUENCH NOT THE SPIRIT! Do not suppress or stifle the HOLY SPIRIT in your life.
Today we go deeper in JESUS Name.
I cannot stress this point enough;
Prayer is communication, talking, conversing with GOD.
Communication is about giving information and receiving feedback.
Praying is not a one way traffic of requests many Christians have made it.
Even in secular relationships when there is one way traffic of communication the friendship does not last.
In the same way, if the relationship between you and the HOLY SPIRIT🔥 is all about you, yourself and your needs the relationship will suffer because of your selfishness.
Your prayer is like fanning a flame which makes you burn hotter. The more you pray the hotter you will become in the Spirit.
As you get tired of fanning the fire begins to go out in the same way as you get tired of praying the SPIRIT begins to quench.
The HOLY SPIRIT🔥 drew my attention to what JESUS said in Luke 18:1 KJV;
➡And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought ALWAYS to pray, and not to faint;⬅
For our own survival in this wicked world we must never get tired of praying.
In 1Thessalonians 5:17 KJV the great Apostle Paul tells the Thessalonians,
➡Pray without ceasing⬅
Pray without ceasing means pray nonstop.
You will say how is this possible? I tell you I do it.
You ask how? The HOLY SPIRIT🔥 dwells in us we can communicate with HIM anytime anywhere. So you don’t have to pray at home, the church or during church meetings alone.
If you can speak with a friend on the phone, speak via whatsApp call, message on WhatsApp, message on Telegram, message on facebook, message on tiktok, message on instagram, and at night video call almost all night, you will find that you virtually have not ceased communicating with your friend all day. I am sure you have more than one friend so you can communicate with your friends virtually all the time.
Why is it that you think you cannot communicate without ceasing with the one in charge of your Life in this world?
YOU CAN DO IT AND YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING. Stay on FIRE🔥.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.
