A USED THING CAN NEVER BE NEW
Scripture📖:Matthew 4:8‭-‬10 CEV

Thank GOD It’s Thursday!
You are a child of the Most High GOD. GLORY FROM NEW IDEAS IS YOUR PRIVILEGE.
Yesterday we ended by saying,
When GOD satisfies you with good new things, NO REGRETS.
Today lets go deeper.
Beloved, the deception is, many believe (or have been made to believe) that old, used, second hand, recycled things are new. In fact in my country used items have been categorised into “HOME” used(foreign used) and LOCAL used. The local used items are cheaper than the foreign used.
Well they may be ‘new’ to you in that you may have seen them for the first time.
But, A USED THING CAN NEVER BE NEW it can only be made to look like new.
In my country a local term for used clothing is ‘broni wa wu’ which literally means from a white man who has died. Apparently this term was coined to make people believe that after a white man has died he sends his clothing to be sold cheaply to us. When this was explained to me by a second hand clothing vendor, I asked one question as she was busy sorting a bale of second hand underwear.
What killed the white man?🤷🏿‍♂️🤫

Another term in my country describes used things as ‘fose’.
This term I have been made to understand comes from the English word false which has been adulterated.
False in addition to meaning untrue, also means not authentic, not genuine. In speaking to a secondhand electrical appliance dealer he said something that struck me.
He said “in order to benefit even a little from anything second hand you must be very lucky.”
This gives room for deception and the root of deception is the devil.
In Matthew 4:8‭-‬10 CEV one of the three ways satan tempted Jesus is described;
➡Finally, the devil took Jesus up on a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms on earth and their power. The devil said to him, “I will give all this to you, if you will bow down and worship me.”
Jesus answered, “Go away Satan! The Scriptures say: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’ ”⬅

Now catch this revelation that I also received by the Holy Spirit.
GOD created the earth and everything that is in and on it. HE then threw the devil and his followers to the earth after they rebelled against HIM. ELOHIM created the earth new and the devil ‘used’ (and is still using) his new home to bring as much dishonour to GOD as possible. GOD created all things new including the kingdoms with their power. The devil was deceitfully offering a used, second hand thing to satisfy JESUS.
But JESUS knew who HE is, the Son of the Most High GOD who is entitled to NEW things ONLY. HE knew that HE was part of the HOLY TRINITY that created ALL things new in the first place.
Choosing a used or second hand thing is BELOW HIM.
As children of GOD, Joint Heirs with Christ, may your mindset take hold of the NEW IDEA(Not recycled, used or second hand) GOD has placed in you so that GLORY will be yours and you will bring GLORY to GOD.
GOD willing we will go deeper tomorrow in JESUS Name.

Prayer🙏🏿 FATHER, rid me of any mediocre mindset so YOU can GLORIFY me with NEW THINGS from NEW IDEAS YOU have made me pregnant with. In Jesus name have I prayed. Amen
