You Are A Perpetual Flame🔥Part 3
Scripture📖: Lev 6:9,12 KJV

TGIF-Thank God It’s Friday!
Yesterday we came to the point where we said,
The responsibility of keeping the fire burning as a New Testament Christian lies directly with YOU. YOU ARE OF A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD AND YOU ARE COMMANDED TO KEEP THE FIRE BURNING.
Today we look at the second point in the list:
2.The fire was to be kept burning morning, through out the day and in the night.
In Lev 6:9,12 KJV the Bible speaks to this point when it says,
➡9 Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, ……..⬅
➡12……..and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning,…………⬅
In order to keep the fire burning you must STOKE the fire.
What does to STOKE the fire mean? It means to feed, stir up, especially, a fire or furnace, to attend to or supply a furnace with fuel.
Obviously a fire that is not fed with fuel will easily go out.
A. How do you feed your fire to keep it burning perpetually?
By reading, studying and memorising the Word of GOD. Not only in the morning but during the day and before you sleep. This will be your fuel⛽.
Since every fire needs fuel and AIR to ignite, the Holy Spirit must be actively involved in feeding your fire all the time.                      B. How do you stir up your fire?
Having watched my mum cook on an old fashioned coal pot stove in my childhood, there were times when she would stir up the fire. When it is stirred it gives of more heat because the stirring process allows more AIR to flow over the hot coals which then burn hotter.
As Christians we stir up our fire by:
1. Praying in the Spirit- When you do this the HOLY SPIRIT helps you burn hotter and for longer.
2. Worship-As you grow in your Christian life you will realise that any aspect of your ministry to GOD is your worship of Him. Through your worship and because of it the HOLY SPIRIT helps you burn hotter and for longer.
3. Praise-Anything that is big is easily seen. When you praise, GOD feels BIG and manifests Himself through you. Here again the HOLY SPIRIT helps and you burn hotter and for longer.
For your flame to burn perpetually this feeding and stirring up must be done continually throughout the day.
GOD we will continue tomorrow by HIS grace.

💭Thought of the day
In order to keep the fire burning perpetually you must feed it and stir it up regularly in the day.

Prayer🙏 HOLY SPIRIT, help me form the daily habit of feeding and stirring up my flame so it can burn perpetually in JESUS Name. Amen.
