SHOW ME YOUR GLORY ➡️ MERCY ➡️ FAVOUR
Scripture📖: Exodus 33:19-23 NIV

TGIF-Thank GOD Its Friday!
His MERCIES are NEW this morning for you and you will benefit from it in today in JESUS Name.
Yesterday we ended by saying we should boldly request of our FATHER to SHOW US HIS GLORY.
Moses did so without saying “please” or “if it is your will show me your glory”. In fact his request sounds like a command which GOD responded to.
Why did GOD show Moses MERCY?
The answer can be found as we read on from yesterdays scripture.
In Exodus 33:19-20 the text continues,
➡️19 And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

20 BUT,” HE SAID, “YOU CANNOT SEE MY FACE, FOR NO ONE MAY SEE ME AND LIVE.”

21 Then the Lord said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock.
22 When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.
23 Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.”⬅️

First of all GOD had to show Moses MERCY because any human in the flesh who saw GOD’S face would die. GOD who is the custodian of life is the only one who has the power give a new lease on life out of MERCY.
Secondly according to verse 20 not only if one saw GOD’S face would one die but any part of HIM.
GOD said “…………..for no one may see me and live.”

But you see GOD is Sovereign and HE does what HE wants. So GOD out of HIS MERCY decided to FAVOUR Moses by protecting him from death and allowing Moses to see HIS back.
If your SHOW ME YOUR GLORY request to the FATHER leads to HIM showing you MERCY then the MERCY HE will show you will lead to HIM FAVOURING you.

GOD’S MERCY IS LIKE A PASSWORD THAT GIVES YOU ACCESS TO FAVOUR

GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.
