The LORD, Full Of MERCY
Scripture📖: Exodus 34:5-6 NKJV
Thank GOD Its Saturday!
Let me take the opportunity to wish all my family in the United States Of America a Happy Indepedence Day.
It is my prayer that as you celebrate your independence from man’s colonisation that you will continue to assert your dependence on JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
Yesterday we ended by saying,
GOD’S MERCY IS LIKE A PASSWORD THAT GIVES YOU ACCESS TO HIS FAVOUR.
Today, in Exodus 34:5-6, just as GOD told Moses after he requested to see GOD’S glory, so it happened;
➡️5 Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.
6 And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, MERCIFUL and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, ⬅️
GOD said HE will proclaim HIS Name as HE passed before Moses and HE did just that.
The word proclaim is translated from the Hebrew word qara which means to properly address. When one is properly addressed ones true identity is revealed. As part of this revelation GOD identified HIMSELF as MERCIFUL.
The word merciful is translated from the Hebrew word rachum which means full of MERCY.
GOD NEVER RUNS OUT OF MERCY. NEVER!
GOD just told me to remind you that in addition to the fact that HIS MERCIES NEVER RUNS OUT, in Ezekiel 18:32a NKJV
HE said,
➡️32 For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the LORD GOD……….⬅️
Let this simmer in your spirit today.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.
💭Thought of the day
GOD NEVER RUNS OUT OF MERCY and HE has no pleasure in the death of the one who dies.
Prayer🙏 FATHER, help me to never forget that YOUR MERCIES never run out and you have no pleasure in the death of the one who dies. In JESUS Name have I prayed. Amen.
