Thank God It’s Monday!
You are becoming more and more too HOT🔥to handle by your enemies.
Yesterday we said,
Like a dove the Holy Spirit is quiet and unobtrusive, with a calming, gentle voice.
In fact even when you go wayward and blow it HIS voice does not change. Even when you are attacked on every side HE will calmly and gently say,
“Stay with me, I got this.”
HE WON’T SHOUT.
HE doesn’t need to because HE is in the closest place possible, in you.
I have said it before that the volume of the voice of the HOLY SPIRIT is like the volume of your thought.
Today we look at the second character of the dove imputed to the HOLY SPIRIT that drew my attention:
▪️Doves are active but not overly demanding
The word active according to my dictionary and in this context means having the power or quality of acting; causing change;given to action; CONSTANTLY engaged in action; energetic; diligent; busy.
The HOLY SPIRIT is ever active even when we don’t see it HE is busy behind the scenes. A lot of the times all we see is the results. This is why it is easy to take HIM fore granted and when we do so it grieves HIM.
But in all this, though the Holy Spirit is GOD our creator, HE is not overly demanding which means acting with a sense of superiority to an excessive degree, overbearing, dictatorial or authoritarian.
The HOLY SPIRIT is not a dictator. He will not force you to do GOD’s will at any cost. But if you continually go against HIM you will quench HIM and HE will shut down like HE shut down in Samson.
Get to know HIM and get into a closer relationship with HIM. You will marvel at what HE will share with you and how HOT🔥 you will become.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.
💭Thought of the day
The HOLY SPIRIT is ACTIVE but not overly demanding.
Prayer🙏 HOLY SPIRIT, I desire a closer relationship with YOU. Please help me to get to know YOU better. In JESUS Name have I prayed. Amen
