Spiritual Gifts: Diverse Kinds of tongues Part 2
Scripture📖: Romans 8:26-27, 1Corinthians 14:2

Thank GOD It’s Tuesday!
Decree this out loud before you step out today in JESUS Name,
I decree the wonderful power of GOD is working to make all crooked path straight in my life, in JESUS’ Name. Amen
Yesterday we said,
Speaking in tongues is a gift given by the HOLY SPIRIT.
Speaking in tongues is an important tool when it comes to prayer.
In Rom 8:26 the Bible says,
➡We do not know how to pray as we ought………….⬅

Oh! We pray alright but we do not know how to pray the way we should.
It is the HOLY SPIRIT that intercedes on our behalf with groanings that cannot be uttered.
Fortunately the HOLY SPIRIT dwells in you and me. So when HE intercedes for us HE does so through us by prayer. The HOLY SPIRIT who knows all things knows the mind of GOD. So when we are praying in tongues as led by the HOLY SPIRIT we are ALWAYS praying in the will of GOD. Thus we always get what we are praying for. This is the only way to pray effectively, praying in the will of GOD.
Please note you can also pray with your understanding as led by the HOLY SPIRIT and you will be in the will of GOD.
But, we are in a warfare against the devil and in every war there is a need for secrecy so that victory can be achieved. This is where another benefit of speaking in tongues comes in.
In 1Cor 14:2 the bible says,
➡For the person who speaks in a diverse tongue is not actually speaking to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands him, because he is talking about secrets by the Spirit.⬅
When your communications are on a designated line and they are in a coded form or as they say in I.C.T terms they are encrypted no one especially not your enemies can understand what is being communicated.
The devil is powerful but there are a many things he cannot do.
Firstly he cannot read your mind. He can only know what is in your mind if he has put it there. This means until you say it he will not know about it. This is where praying with your understanding sometimes falls a little short because you volunteer information which the devil can then use against you. Praying in tongues takes care of this and before the devil knows it your answer is in your hands and he can do nothing about it.
JESUS mentioned this gift first when he spoke about the signs that will follow every believer in Mark 16:17-18. So just like with the gift of healing. You may not work miracles but you can speak in tongues if you believe.
You may not operate in word of knowledge but you can speak in tongues if you believe.
It is available to every Christian
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.

You may not operate in some gifts but speaking in diverse tongues is for every believer.

Prayer🙏 HOLY SPIRIT, help me understand the importance of speaking in tongues as led by the Holy Spirit so I will always pray in the will of GOD and always wage a victorious warfare by prayer. In JESUS Name have I prayed. Amen
