Spiritual Gifts: Diverse Kinds of tongues Part 3
Scripture📖:1Timothy 4:8, 1Cor 4:4a, Eph 6:10, Jude 20.
Thank GOD It’s Wednesday!
Decree this out loud before you step out in JESUS Name,
I decree that today my realm will be quiet in the mighty Name of JESUS and I will have rest on every side in JESUS Name. Amen
Yesterday we said,
You may not operate in some gifts but speaking in diverse tongues is for every believer.
Speaking tongues does not only give you a designated confidential line to ELOHIM.
Another benefit is that it strengthens you in the inner man.
It is amazing how now a days fitness and healthy living is the order of the day. People don’t want to die so they are trying their best to exercise and eat healthy.
But in 1Tim 4:8 the Bible says that ;
➡Bodily exercise profits only a little.⬅
If only we would pay more attention to exercising the inner man than the outer man.
We build the outer man by jogging, weight training etc. In the same way we build the inner man by speaking in tongues.
In 1Cor 14:4a the Bible says,
➡Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves…….⬅
The word edify is translated from the Greek word oikodomeo which means to build.
I body build for strength in my physical body muscles.
Speaking in tongues will build your spiritual muscle.
Remember we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
Paul in Ephesians 6:10 tells the Ephesians:
➡Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.⬅
Paul here is talking about spiritual strength and power not physical. This strength and power is gained by edifying oneself by praying in tongues.
In Jude 20(AMP) we are admonished to pray in the HOLY SPIRIT which buttresses the afore going points.
The bible says;
➡But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit,⬅
We as Christians must never overlook this gift if we want to be strong and powerful as the HOLY SPIRIT transforms you into another person.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.
