On FIRE🔥But Not Consumed Pt. 2
But GOD Is A Consuming FIRE🔥
Scripture📖: Hebrews 12:29 NKJV

Thank GOD It’s Tuesday!
Yesterday we saw how fire cannot burn FIRE🔥and we said NOT ONLY WILL YOU NOT BE CONSUMED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT”S FIRE🔥 IN YOU NEITHER CAN EXTERNAL FIRE🔥 CONSUME YOU.
Today let’s go deeper.
The HOLY SPIRIT reminded me and asked me to remind you of what the Bible says about GOD and FIRE🔥.
In Hebrews 12:29 NKJV the Bible says,
➡29 For our God is a CONSUMING FIRE🔥.⬅

But in the beginning, in Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV the Bible says,
➡26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [g]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.⬅
Do you understand what this means?
This means we look like HIM and we acted like HIM.
An image is an optical or other representation of a real object; a graphic; a picture. Just like when you look in a mirror you see an optical representation of yourself. When ELOHIM looks at you HE sees HIMSELF.
When we talk about likeness it pertains to GOD’s character or how He is like.
For example when people see the way I talk, my mannerisms, my generosity and they know father Dr. Samuel Asamoah of blessed memory, they often say I am just like my FATHER. This apart from my physical resemblance to him.
So if GOD made you in His likeness, you have the capacity to be like GOD in every way with the exception of physical immortality.
GOD is a CONSUMING FIRE🔥 as HIS image and likeness what does that make you?
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.
