UPPER HAND Through JESUS Part 2,
JESUS Has Given You Authority To Gain The UPPER HAND
Scripture📖: Luke 10:19 NKJV
Thank GOD Its Monday!
Today we move on to the part 2 of UPPER HAND Through JESUS by the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT.
We have a firm, immovable, unshakable foundation that we can confidently build on. YESHUA AMASHIACH HIMSELF.
In preparation for today’s devotion the HOLY SPIRIT said to me,
“Tell them that they have been given authority to gain an upper hand anywhere, anytime and against anyone who is in opposition to them.”
HE led me to Luke 10:19 NKJV in which JESUS said,
➡️19 Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will by any means hurt you.⬅️
The word authority is translated from the Greek word exousia which means the legal and/or moral right to exercise power. GOD is the ultimate, personal authority and source of ALL authority. ALL exercise of authority is therefore subordinate and can only be derived from HIM. This is why JESUS must give us authority in order for us to be able to exercise it.
You have been given the AUTHORITY you can walk among snakes and scorpions (which are symbolic of principalities, demons, evil spirits, spiritual wickedness in high places who are agents of the devil) and you will have the UPPER HAND over them.
Secondly, where you see ‘the enemy’, Jesus is talking about satan and as a Christian you have been given AUTHORITY OVER ALL HIS POWER.
By this AUTHORITY you have the legal right to gain the UPPER HAND over the devil himself.
Let this simmer in your spirit.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow in JESUS Name.

Through the authority given to you by JESUS you have the legal right to gain the UPPER HAND over the devil himself and all his agents.
Prayer 🙏 FATHER, help me to exercise the authority given to me by JESUS so I can gain the UPPER HAND over anyone and anything that is contrary to your will for my life. In JESUS Name have I prayed. Amen.
