Spiritual Gifts: Prophecy

Thank GOD It’s Thursday!
Decree this out loud before you leave home today in Jesus name,
I decree every gate of opposition and destruction upon my life is permanently lifted and destroyed, in the mighty Name of JESUS. Amen
Yesterday we said,
Dunamis is the power which resides in GOD to perform any miracle possible and these miracles can be manifested through you by the HOLY SPIRIT.
Another gift that can manifest as the HOLY SPIRIT transforms you is the;
➡Gift of Prophecy⬅
In 1Corinthians 12:10b Paul says,
➡…….., to another the gift of prophecy,……….,⬅
What is prophecy? Prophecy is a prediction, especially one made by a prophet or under divine inspiration. Trust the secular world to logically reduce prophecy to just a prediction.
In 1Corinthians 12:10b the word prophecy is translated from the Greek word prophēteia which means more than just a prediction. It means a discourse emanating from divine inspiration and declaring the purposes of GOD, whether by reproving and admonishing the wicked, or comforting the afflicted, or revealing things hidden; especially by foretelling future events.
The origin of prophēteia is from the Greek word prophetes which means one who, moved by the Spirit of GOD and hence HIS organ or spokesman, solemnly declares to men what he has received by inspiration, especially concerning future events, and in particular such as relate to the cause and kingdom of GOD and to human salvation.
So as you see true prophecy is not just about prediction.
Another thing is that formerly prophecy was mandated by GOD to certain individuals till John the Baptist. But since the coming of the HOLY SPIRIT any one can manifest the prophetic. But though you may have the gift of Prophecy you may not be a Prophet or in the office of a Prophet. Never the less by manifesting this gift by the mandate of ELOHIM you may be ushered into that office.
Another thing is that word of knowledge is not prophecy though those who manifest in prophetic often also operate in word of knowledge or wisdom.
After laying this foundation tomorrow we will continue and go deeper on this in Jesus name.
💭Thought of the day
True prophecy is not just about prediction neither is word of knowledge synonymous with prophecy though they often operate hand in hand.
Prayer🙏 HOLY SPIRIT, may YOU manifest in me through the gift of Prophecy in Jesus name have I prayed. Amen.
