The Fruits of the HOLY SPIRIT: GENTLENESS
Scripture📖: Galatians 5:22, Matthew 11:29 NIV
Thank GOD It’s Wednesday!
May you keep bearing fruit upwards forevermore in JESUS Name.
Yesterday we spent our time on LONGSUFFERING as a fruit of the Spirit and we said,
AS YOUR ROOTS ARE DEEP IN JESUS AND HIS WORDS ABIDE IN YOU, HIS ABILITY FOR LONGSUFFERING IS IN YOU, SO BEAR THE FRUIT OF LONGSUFFERING UPWARD IN JESUS NAME.
Today we focus on the fifth fruit of the Spirit which is GENTLENESS. In Matthew 11:29 NIV JESUS spoke in relation to the GENTLENESS that is in HIM;
➡29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.⬅
The word GENTLENESS is translated from the Greek word chrestotes which means moral goodness, integrity, benignity(which means mild mannered and kind).
JESUS asked us to learn of HIM and be gentle like HIM.
JESUS also asked us to be wise as serpents but gentle as doves.
It is interesting to note that one of the symbols of the Holy Spirit is the dove🕊
The bearing of the Spirit’s fruit of GENTLENESS brings out GENTLENESS in you.
AS YOUR ROOTS ARE DEEP IN JESUS AND HIS WORDS ABIDE IN YOU, HIS GENTLENESS IS IN YOU, SO BEAR THE FRUIT OF GENTLENESS UPWARD IN JESUS NAME.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow.

Prayer🙏 FATHER, grant me the grace to learn from JESUS and bear the fruit of GENTLENESS that HE talked about so I too will have rest for my soul. Amen
