The Fruits of the HOLY SPIRIT: GOODNESS
Scripture📖: Mark 10:18 NIV, John 10:30 NIV
Thank GOD It’s Thursday!
Bearing fruit upwards as you abide in JESUS is your portion in HIS Name. Receive it!
Yesterday we spent our time on GENTLENESS as a fruit of the Spirit and we said,
AS YOUR ROOTS ARE DEEP IN JESUS AND HIS WORDS ABIDE IN YOU, HIS GENTLENESS IS IN YOU, SO BEAR THE FRUIT OF GENTLENESS UPWARD IN JESUS NAME.
Today we focus on the fifth fruit of the Spirit which is GOODNESS.
In relation to GOODNESS JESUS said in Mark 10:18 NIV;
➡18 …………………..“No one is good—except God alone.⬅ But JESUS also said in John 10:30;
➡30 I and my Father are one.⬅
This means as GOD is good so too JESUS the Son of GOD is good.
The word GOODNESS is translated from the agathosune which means uprightness of heart and life.
JESUS is the embodiment of uprightness of heart and life so,
AS YOUR ROOTS ARE DEEP IN JESUS AND HIS WORDS ABIDE IN YOU, HIS GOODNESS IS IN YOU, SO BEAR THE FRUIT OF GOODNESS UPWARD IN JESUS NAME.
GOD willing we will continue tomorrow.

Prayer🙏 FATHER, grant me the grace to bear the fruit of GOODNESS that JESUS so I too will have uprightness of heart and life. Amen
